Welcome To Towson Mediation Services LLC

 

We are a private mediation firm located in Towson, Maryland that specializes in mediation services for those undergoing a divorce and also provides mediation services for employment and business disputes. Please read our About section for more information about our mediators.

 

Mediation is defined as a process in which an impartial person, the mediator, facilitates communication between the parties to promote settlement. The mediator may encourage the open exchange of suggestions and ideas but may not impose her judgment on the issues for that of the parties.

 

The mediator uses her best efforts to assist the parties in reaching a mutually acceptable resolution. The mediator is authorized to conduct joint and separate meetings, called caucuses, with the parties. All parties commit to participate in the proceedings in good faith with the intention to settle. The parties or their representatives agree that they shall have the full authority to settle any and all issues that form the subject of the mediation.

 

Mediation sessions are private and confidential. The mediator shall not divulge information disclosed to the mediator by the parties in the course of the mediation.
